1. What was your favorite part of the book?

2. If you could be any farm animal, what would it be and why?

5. What do you think would have happened to Frank if Carrie and Jemima wouldn't have made him a wet suit? What do you think would have happened to him if he hadn't tried swimming to begin with?

6. Did you think it was realistic for Frank to wear a wet suit? (Other animals get dressed up... pets, working dogs, etc.)

7. Why do you think Frank changed his mind about swimming?

Dressmaker's shears= scissors
ducks waggling their rumps= bottoms
scones= biscuit-type cookie, often served with tea.
cockerel= male chicken/rooster
pullet= female hen less than 1 year old
hen= female chicken
pokenose= nosey, gossipy
plumage= feathers
wellies= rubber boots
toadying up to someone= kissing up/flattering
